 Aluminium squeeze casting, some people like to typing as Aluminium squeezing casting, also known as liquid metal forging, is a casting process which is combined with Aluminium casting and Aluminium forging process.
In Aluminium squeeze casting, the tooling have 2 halves: upper die and bottom die. When casting, the molten metal will be poured into the bottom half of the pre-heated die. As the metal starts solidifying, the upper half closes the die and applies external pressure during the solidification process. And the upper die only removed after the metal is cooled. The amount of pressure thus applied is much less than used in forging, with the purpose to prevent the formation of shrinkage porosity, and parts of great detail can be produced.
In other words, Aluminium squeeze casting is forming Aluminium alloy into shapes after Aluminium alloy liquid adding to the dies by using two dies that are squeezed together, this is not like most other casting techniques use two dies that are squeezed together before the metal is added.

 By using this technology, compared to the other casting technique, the Aluminium squeezing casting will typically come out with better grain and less metallic shrinking and much stronger mechanical properties.
